Persimmon 5K Run/Walk & Kid’s Races

5K Starts: 8:30
(Kid’s Races begin after completion of 5K)

Who: All runners, joggers or walkers
(and their families) are welcome!
What: 5K Run/Walk through Mitchell city streets. The
course is mostly flat.
Other free events: 1 mile Fun Run ( any age)
800 meter run (K-3rd only), 200 meter run (Pre-K)
When: Saturday, September 25, 2010
Registration begins at 7:30,
5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30.
Kid’s races & Mile run begin at approximately 10 am.
Where: Starts in front of Mitchell High School.
Mitchell is about 30 miles south of
Bloomington on Hwy. 37.
Other trivial details: 5KRun/Walk is $18.00 pre-reg and $20.00 day of race. (MAIL IN FEES. Add $2 each for online registration)
T-shirts to all 5K participants!
Awards to top 3 in each age group for Run
(0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44,45-49
50-54,55-59 60+)
Awards to top 5 male and female walkers.
Awards for grade 5 and under in Mile Fun Run.
Ribbons for all participants in Kid’s Races.

The Magnificent 7 Race Series was established by Dr. Jerry Ruff in 1997 to promote participation in road races held in the 7 south-central Indiana counties of: Brown, Greene, Jackson, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, Owen. 2012 marks the 15th anniversary of the race series.
